Job Summary:

The Phlebotomy Technician is responsible for collecting specimens from patients in the inpatient setting. This role requires a high level of accuracy and timeliness, and team members are assigned to various units based on volume.

Requirements:

  • 1 year of experience in phlebotomy
  • Bilingual skills (Spanish/English) are preferred
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required
  • Formal Phlebotomy or Medical Assistant training is required (annual recertification is not required); PBT (ASCP) certification is highly desirable
