Behavior Support Specialist

We are seeking passionate individuals to join our team as Behavior Support Specialists at Centria Healthcare. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of children with autism.

As a Behavior Support Specialist, you will work closely with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement individualized behavior intervention plans tailored to each child's unique needs. Your primary responsibility will be to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while minimizing interfering behaviors using evidence-based techniques.

To excel in this position, you should possess a genuine passion for helping children with autism reach their full potential. You must be patient, compassionate, and able to collaborate effectively within a team environment. Although prior experience is not necessary, we will provide comprehensive training to equip you with the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in this role.

Working with children with autism can be unpredictable and emotionally demanding, so it's essential to possess a strong sense of resilience and adaptability. Your ability to think critically and respond compassionately in challenging situations will be invaluable assets in this position.

Predicted Salary Range: $23 - $32

Requirements:

• A genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of children with autism
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification, and Tuberculosis test (if not recently obtained)
• Passion for teamwork and collaboration
• 18+ years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
