Cardiovascular Imaging Specialist

Norman Regional Health System is a community hospital system nestled at the southern border of the Oklahoma City metro area. We have an innovative cardiovascular program and are looking for a skilled Registered Technologist to expand our cardiovascular team.

We are seeking a CV Rad Technologist to prepare equipment before and during procedures, identify and assess patient conditions, and provide excellent patient care. This role requires strong collaboration with cardiologists and leadership while serving as a preceptor for new staff.

We work with a team of nine cardiologists and two electrophysiologists in our state-of-the-art Critical Care Tower. Our Cardiovascular Program has received several prestigious awards, including American College of Cardiology Chest Pain Center with PCI and Resuscitation Accreditation and Women's Choice Award in Heart Care.

• Prepare equipment before and during procedures
• Identify and assess patient conditions
• Provide patient care, positioning patients appropriately
• Maintain a sterile environment
• Serve as preceptor for new hires and radiology students

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A formal Radiologic Technology program or military program with ARRT eligibility and/or current RCIS certification
• Previous procedural area experience is preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training required during orientation
• Current BLS required to be maintained through re-training
• ACLS training must be achieved within 6 months of hire and maintained throughout employment
