We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant General Manager to join our team at Southern Multifoods, Inc. As a Restaurant General Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective operation of our Taco Bell restaurant.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure customer satisfaction by providing excellent quality, service, cleanliness, and hospitality.
  2. Manage all aspects of restaurant operations, including inventory control, employee training, and performance reviews.
  3. Ensure adherence to safety policies and procedures, and maintain a positive and cooperative atmosphere among employees and customers.
  4. Assist with budget decisions and implementation, and ensure adequate staffing within the restaurant.
  5. Follow specified procedures for inventory control, and provide employee training on the Taco Bell CHAMPS and LAST systems.

Requirements:

  1. High school education or equivalent is required.
  2. Must have comprehensive understanding of all aspects of restaurant management and prior food service experience.
  3. Must possess a valid driver's license and have access to a vehicle for company business.
  4. Must have current liability insurance and a home or cellular telephone.
  5. Requires good interpersonal communication skills to direct employees and work with customers.
  6. Must be able to pay attention to detail, cope with pressure, and remain calm in stressful situations.

Working Conditions:

Work area temperature may be extreme and noise level may be high at times.

Consequence of Errors:

Dissatisfied customers and employees, loss of revenue.

Key Activities:

  1. Assist with budget decisions and implementation.
  2. Ensure adequate staffing within the restaurant.
  3. Follow specified procedures for inventory control.
  4. Provide employee training, emphasizing CHAMPS and the Taco Bell LAST system.
  5. Perform employee performance reviews and counseling.
  6. Work as a team member to assure constant and consistent customer satisfaction through CHAMPS.
  7. Quickly prepare customers' orders according to specifications and with the highest possible quality.
  8. Prioritize workload, always serving customers first, then maintaining dining room, and then maintaining work area.
  9. Operate all kitchen equipment.
  10. Acknowledge and speak to customers when possible in a friendly and courteous manner.
  11. Report any needed equipment and/or facilities repair to the Maintenance Department.
