About the Role
At Apple, we are seeking an experienced Sensing HW Systems Architect to join our team. This role is a critical part of our efforts to create innovative hardware systems that support computer vision, machine learning, and photography applications.

Responsibilities
We are looking for a skilled Systems Architect who can lead teams in exciting projects, work with world-class experts, and contribute to revolutionary Apple products. Key responsibilities include:

  • Requirements definition and architecture
  • Coordinating multi-functional design & development, small- to medium-scale production, test & calibration, and support through the full system lifecycle
  • Collaboration with computer vision algorithm teams and system & module teams to interpret and negotiate system hardware requirements
  • Proposing and negotiating system architecture that can be multi-functionally supported in the timeframes vital to meet program objectives

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • A BS degree and a minimum of 10 years relevant industry experience or equivalent
  • An experienced, dedicated engineer with initiative and a proven track record of developing sophisticated systems from definition through the project life cycle
  • Great communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • A technical leader able to bridge and coordinate broadly multi-functional teams

The estimated salary for this role is between $166,600 and $296,300, depending on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We also offer a range of other benefits, including stock programs and education reimbursement.
