About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Imaging Technologist to join our team at Highlands-Cashiers Hospital in Highlands, NC. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.

Job Summary

The Diagnostic Imaging Technologist is responsible for performing invasive and non-invasive procedures on patients using various imaging modalities, including CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, and Ultrasound. You will be required to utilize sterile techniques when necessary, operate complex imaging equipment, and assist physicians as needed. Your primary goal will be to produce superior quality imaging studies, working independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform a variety of imaging procedures using different modalities, including CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, and Ultrasound
  • Operate complex imaging equipment, ensuring proper functioning and maintenance
  • Assist physicians during procedures, providing support and guidance as needed
  • Maintain accurate records of patient data and procedure results
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess a strong foundation in radiologic technology, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure. A bachelor's degree from an accredited program and ARRT registration are also required.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JCERT) program
  • ARRT registered and hold post-primary certification in a minimum of one additional qualifying discipline
  • Previous experience in a multi-disciplined Radiology Department
