Job Title: Catholic Education Specialist

Location: Ladgov Corporation

Duties:

  • Develop and implement religious education programs for adults and children, ensuring alignment with the Catholic faith and the cultural environment of the Marine and Navy communities.
  • Review and recommend educational materials, providing guidance to the Catholic Priest on adult and youth CREP programs from pre-school through high school ages.
  • Design and coordinate curriculum for classes and academic-religious events, promoting spiritual growth and development within the Catholic community.
  • Provide leadership development for Catholic religious education teachers, including recruitment, training, and assessment.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, program costs, and other essential data.

Requirements:

  • Possess an associate degree or have a minimum of one year of experience as a religious education teacher, with a preference for experience in managing large, multi-session programs.
  • Experience working with military leadership or attending a military chapel is favorable.
  • Must be sensitive to religious pluralism and able to work effectively with diverse religious beliefs.
  • Excellent knowledge of the Roman Catholic Church's doctrines, liturgy, sacraments, history, customs, and organization.
