About Us: DaVita, a clinical leader in nephrology care, seeks highly skilled Registered Nurses to provide empathetic and compassionate care to patients with end-stage renal failure and chronic kidney disease.
Job Summary: As an Inpatient Dialysis Registered Nurse, you will work closely with a small interdisciplinary team to deliver specialty nephrology care in a hospital setting. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee patient observations, manage various renal therapies, and participate in a rewarding training program that aims to improve patient health through clinical goal setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including observation, assessment, and intervention as needed.
- Manage multiple renal therapies, such as hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT), and apheresis.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions, treatments, and progress.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Associates Degree in Nursing (A.D.N) from accredited school of nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N); three-year diploma from accredited diploma program may be substituted for nursing degree.
- Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Critical Care Unit (CCU), Emergency Room (ER), or Medical Surgical (Med Surg) experience is a plus.
- Certified Nephrology Nurse (CNN) or Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN) certification is highly valued.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Salary Range: $40.00 - $55.00 / hour
