About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Financial Officer for Commercial Marketing to lead our Commercial Marketing Finance team. As the leader of this team, you will be responsible for driving planning, insights, investment prioritization, marketing optimization, and efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead individual team members, providing coaching, priority setting, support, and leadership to drive business growth.
  • Set the vision and execution for the Commercial Marketing finance team.
  • Drive data-informed decision making and systematic solutions.
  • Directs and coaches teams as they leverage relationships with customers and partners.
  • Directs, performs, and reviews analysis and research of present and future financial performance.
  • Guides others to contribute to budget, forecast, reporting, closing, and recurring business review processes.
  • Generates actionable plans based on complex results and ambiguous findings.
  • Drives the right tone from executive leadership and ensures compliance with Microsoft policies.

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 8 years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field
  • OR Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 10 years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field
  • OR equivalent experience.
  • 1 year experience managing direct reports.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • People management experience with demonstrated success
  • Polished interpersonal skills and verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated drive including ability to effectively manage multiple projects
  • Ability to collaborate and be comfortable dealing with ambiguity
  • Ability to lead and influence business partners
