The Good Samaritan Society is a leading provider of senior skilled nursing services, with a commitment to quality care and service in a Christian environment. We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team on part-time evening shifts at our facility in Waconia, MN.

Job Summary

We are looking for a compassionate and skilled nursing professional to provide individualized care to our residents. As an RN or LPN, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care to meet the unique needs of each resident. You will work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery and exceptional patient outcomes.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing direct care to residents, including administering medications, performing wound care, and assisting with daily living activities;
  • Developing and implementing individualized care plans that address the physical, emotional, and social needs of each resident;
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure continuity of services;
  • Maintaining accurate and comprehensive documentation of resident care, including progress notes, medication administration records, and incident reports.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • A valid RN or LPN license in the state of Minnesota;
  • A minimum of one year of experience in a skilled nursing setting, preferably with experience in long-term care and gerontology;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues;
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex situations and develop effective solutions;

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $28-$48 per hour, depending on experience, plus benefits that include:
