Senior Field Service Specialist

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Lead Field Service Technician to join our team at Office Depot. The ideal candidate will be responsible for scheduling service calls, handling day-to-day service issues, and providing exceptional customer support. This role requires strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
- Repair and maintain copiers, fax machines, and printers to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Configure and communicate repair estimates to customers in a clear and timely manner.
- Prepare and manage service call billing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Maintain inventory of parts and supplies, purchasing as needed to support service delivery.
- Coordinate and schedule equipment deliveries to customers, ensuring timely and efficient service.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and best practices.
Requirements:
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience in electronics repair or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in electronics repair, with a focus on copier, fax, and printer repair.
- A+ and Network+ certifications are highly desirable.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally for service calls.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and management.
