About the Role:

As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist at Essentia Health, you will play a vital role in helping diagnose and treat various medical conditions using diagnostic imaging procedures and radioactive materials.

Your responsibilities will include preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals, operating imaging equipment, and ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic imaging procedures
  • Operate imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout procedures
  • Provide health care services using radionuclides to assist in diagnosis or treatment of patients

Education and Qualifications:

Graduate of a Committee of Allied Health Education and Accreditation (CAHEA), accredited nuclear medicine program.

Licensure and Certification:

Current American Registry of Radiographic Technologists Nuclear Medicine (ARRT)(NM) or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) licensure.

Must have current license on North Dakota Medical Imaging & Radiation Therapy Board of Examiners (NDMIRT) upon hire.

Work Environment:
