Strategic Technology PR Associate Vice President

Finn Partners, a leading global integrated marketing and public relations agency, seeks an exceptional Public Relations Associate Vice President to join our esteemed team. This highly rewarding role will focus on developing and executing strategic client communications campaigns in the technology sector.
We are looking for a seasoned professional with extensive experience in managing B2B and B2C tech PR client campaigns. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for nurturing and expanding existing client relationships, pursuing new business opportunities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive results-driven communications strategies.
The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of public relations, media relations, and the ability to think creatively and strategically. A strong track record of delivering presentations/pitches to current and prospective clients is essential. We value individuals who can motivate and lead others, possess superb interpersonal skills, and have a proven ability to budget programs and manage client finances effectively.
Salary Range: $110,000 - $140,000

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive public relations programs and campaigns, including budget and KPI tracking.
- Manage day-to-day client program responsibilities and deliverables.
- Nurture and sustain existing client relationships, identifying opportunities to expand the scope of business.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop ongoing communications strategies and tactical plans for clients.
- Leverage existing relationships and create new connections across technology trade and business media to drive coverage on behalf of clients.
- Contribute innovative ideas to clients to maximize communications results and anticipate potential issues.
- Lead and develop account team members as assigned.
- Identify and pursue new client relationship opportunities for our technology public relations practice.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of prior experience directing public relations teams and client campaigns, preferably specializing in technology clients.
- Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, public relations, or a technology field.
- Deep understanding of public relations and media relations based on relevant work experience.
- Experience thinking creatively and planning strategically and globally.
- Adept at developing and delivering presentations/pitches to current and prospective clients.
- Ability to understand the experiences of other employees and incorporate them into successful business strategies.
- Strong verbal, writing, and editing skills.
- Ability to motivate and lead others.
- Superb interpersonal skills.
- Ability to budget programs and manage client finances.
