We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to fill the role of Nursing Supervisor at Genesis HealthCare.

Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing nursing care and ensuring compliance with healthcare standards while facilitating staff performance and education during designated shifts.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to maintain adequate nursing coverage to provide safe nursing care for 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
- Participate in the interview process for nursing vacancies and assess the performance of existing employees.
- Identify educational needs of the staff and communicate needs to the Nurse Practice Educator (NPE) so they can be addressed.
- Ensure patient care assignments are consistent with staff competencies, scope of practice and the needs of the patients.
- Support the Director of Nursing in employing a strong Quality Improvement process for the nursing department.
- Must be a graduate of an approved school for practical or vocational nursing.
- Must be currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing or pending licensed practical nurse licensure.
- Must maintain current BLS/CPR certification.
