Job Overview

As a Senior Business Intelligence Engineer at Prosperity Bank, you will play a key role in designing and implementing applications using emerging technology platforms. Your expertise in full SDLC will ensure the successful development, testing, and support of applications that align with our firm's data management standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the team to design and implement technical solutions using existing and emerging technology platforms.
  • Develop, test, and support applications through the full SDLC, ensuring they meet our data management standards.
  • Write SQL queries, stored procedures, and utilize SQL Server to generate reports and respond to user requests for data.
  • Work closely with other technology members to ensure quality monitoring and problem resolution.
  • Communicate effectively with users and management to resolve issues and provide technical documentation.
  • Contribute to the development of technical documentation and application procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with change management and security policies.

Requirements:

  • Excellent understanding of Relational Database Design.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in ASP.NET MVC, HTML, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and C# development, with experience in Angular JS, React JS, and .NET Core a plus.
  • Lead the implementation of database-first development projects.
  • Proficiency in Azure DevOps Version Control.
  • Experience with API integrations and web services (REST, SOAP).
  • Participate in technical and architect requirements gathering sessions.
  • Minimum of five years of Database Analysis and/or Development experience with SQL Server, writing SQL statements and generating reports, including SSIS and SSRS.
  • Establishment and implementation of reporting tools to create reports and dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, SSRS, or similar analytic tools.
  • Experience with data management standards such as data governance a plus.
  • BS degree in computer science or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Effective analyst able to work closely with non-technical users.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Self-driven with the desire to achieve measurable, specific results within tight time frames.
  • Minimum of two years' experience in the Financial & Banking industry preferred.
  • Knowledge of MS Access, MS Visual Studio, Crystal Reports a plus.
  • Proficiency in interpersonal communication, presentation, problem solving, and analysis.
