Leadership Opportunity in Psychiatry Residency Education

Northwell Health Physician Partners is seeking a highly skilled and experienced psychiatrist to lead the Residency Training Program at Lenox Hill Hospital. As a key member of our Department of Behavioral Health, you will be responsible for overseeing the program's compliance with regulatory requirements, ensuring the completeness of the educational training experience, and maintaining the adequacy of the educational environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversight of the program to ensure regulatory compliance with the requirements of the Accreditation Council of Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) and its Residency Review Committee (RRC), and the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN)
  • Ensure the completeness of the educational training experience, comply with institutional and regulatory guidelines, and maintain the adequacy of the educational environment
  • Oversight of the candidate recruitment process, management of the program's budget, and review of performance measures and use of staff resources appropriate to the program's needs
  • Participation in the institutional graduate medical education committee and provision of supervision to fellows, residents, and other trainees caring for patients under the auspices of the department
