About the Role:

The American Academy of Dermatology is seeking a skilled Web Production Specialist to join our team in Rosemont, IL. As a key member of our web team, you will be responsible for executing requests for website content changes, creating new webpages using our template and component libraries, and modifying and archiving existing pages within our content management system.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate incoming web production requests for clarity, completeness, and scheduling issues
• Execute requests on schedule while maintaining high quality and alignment with style, branding, and SEO guidelines
• Build and update pages in support of the AAD.org/public editorial calendar based on agreed schedules
• Proactively communicate with stakeholders to ensure cross-functional tasks are completed efficiently and effectively
• Monitor website performance using web analytics tools and address broken links, spelling errors, and download speed issues

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field
• Minimum two years of web production experience
• Basic understanding of HTML
• Knowledge of page-level user experience best practices for websites
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
• Strong time management, prioritization, and organizational skills
• Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills
• Ability to work with or learn Adobe Creative Suite
• Ability to work in a team environment using shared processes
• Ability to work with or learn Google Analytics 4 and Google Looker Studio
