Mixology Expert

The Brookmere Hotel and Regent Restaurant & Bar, a premier hospitality destination in Saratoga Springs, New York, seeks an experienced Bartender to join our team.

Situated just a mile from the Saratoga Racetrack and abutting Saratoga National Golf Course, our property is a major development project managed by Hay Creek Hotels. The 10-acre site will feature an 88-room upper-upscale hotel, full-service restaurant and bar with seasonal outdoor porch, spa, banquet facility with 6,000 sq.ft. of meeting and event space, and private access to Lake Lonely.

• Greet, direct, seat, and take orders from food and beverage guests.
• Serve guests according to company standards.
• Organize and maintain consistent liquor inventory and communicate needs to management.
• Develop and be knowledgeable of wine and beer lists offered.
• Participate in developing specialty cocktail menus and make pairing suggestions.
• Pour glass wine, beer, and mixed drinks in accordance with HCH service standards.
• Practice safe serving practices and understand state liquor requirements.
• Complete setup for temporary or banquet bars, prepare garnishes and mix drink ingredients prior to shift.
• Be familiar with menu items and related materials.
• Clean and maintain working areas and equipment.
• Settle bills using the POS system and reconcile cash accurately.

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must feel comfortable with technology and have working knowledge of Point of Sale systems.
• 1 year bartending experience in high-volume restaurants preferred.
• Alcohol service training certificate a plus (training provided if needed).
• Ability to work in a constructive, team environment with a positive attitude.
• Flexibility to work nights, mornings, weekends, holidays, and busy seasonal days.

An estimated salary range for this position is $18-$22 per hour, based on location and industry standards.
