About the Position

Maxim Healthcare Services is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and making clinical judgments in an effective and efficient manner.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and Plan Care
  • Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
  • Monitor Patient Condition
  • Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient's condition.
  • Document Patient Care
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data and information from healthcare members and document actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.
  • Implement Interventions
  • Document the patient's plan of care using identified nursing diagnoses, expected patient outcomes, and selected nursing interventions.
  • Revise Care Plan
  • Perform interventions according to identified priorities, plan of care, and hospital policies and patient care outcome standards.
  • Evaluate Patient Care
  • Revises the plan of care according to evaluation, changes in the medical plan of care, and effective/ineffective nursing interventions.
  • Other Responsibilities
  • Uses clinical judgment in evaluation activities to meet patient care needs of an assigned unit/floor, including establishing priorities.
  • Other Registered Nurse duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Current Registered Nurse License for the state in which the nurse practices.
  • Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
  • Current BLS card.
  • One year prior Registered Nurse experience preferred.
