At Boston Children's Hospital, we are dedicated to providing exceptional care to children with complex medical needs. We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Social Worker to join our Critical Care, Anesthesia, Perioperative, and Home Ventilation (CAPE) Program.

About the Role

This is a full-time social work position that requires a strong understanding of psychosocial assessments and the ability to provide consultation and support to families. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing cases and coordinating complex resources with community, governmental, school, healthcare, and other agencies.

The CAPE Clinical Social Worker will be responsible for:

  • Conducting comprehensive psychosocial assessments and providing consultation and support to families
  • Managing cases and coordinating complex resources with various stakeholders
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team across the continuum of care

To qualify for this role, you must have a Master's degree in Social Work and a state of Massachusetts LICSW license. Several years of social work experience in a medical environment, particularly with chronic illness, are highly preferred. You should also possess excellent communication skills, flexibility, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced dynamic environment.

Bilingualism in English and Spanish is a plus, but not required. As a new hire, you will be eligible for a $5,000 sign-on bonus.
