Job Summary

BETA GROUP INC is seeking an experienced Senior Traffic Engineer to lead our traffic engineering team. This role will play a key part in overseeing technical designs, managing projects from conceptual to final design, and preparing contract plans and documents.

About the Role

This position will involve:

  • Leading traffic engineering projects
  • Mentoring junior staff to enhance their knowledge and advance their career development
  • Reviewing and preparing traffic-related contract documents
  • Collaborating with internal disciplines and office locations
Responsibilities

This Senior Traffic Engineer will be responsible for:

  1. Performing and managing design on traffic and transportation projects
  2. Conducting detailed traffic analysis, traffic signal design, traffic modeling and simulation, intersection geometrics, complete streets, and temporary traffic controls
  3. Managing traffic-related projects
  4. Providing responsive client service through strong and expeditious communication

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in civil engineering
  • A Professional Engineer license
  • 12-18 years of related engineering experience in traffic engineering
  • Demonstrated strong background in traffic and transportation engineering
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil3D and Microstation Connect
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is $90,000-$120,000 per year, depending on experience.
