MRI Imaging Specialist

To provide high-quality patient care and imaging services in a professional and efficient manner. The MRI Technologist will be responsible for performing Magnetic Resonance Imaging procedures, preparing patients for procedures, and selecting and operating imaging equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Performs MRI procedures, including preparing patients, selecting imaging protocols, and operating imaging equipment.
2. Provides patient education and instructions on procedures and imaging protocols.
3. Maintains a clean and organized work environment, including restocking supplies and reporting equipment malfunctions.
4. Participates in quality assessment and improvement initiatives, including quality control duties in the MRI area.
5. Maintains knowledge of sterile supplies and techniques, as well as anatomical structures via computer-generated systems.
Requirements:
1. High school diploma or equivalent and graduate of an approved School of Radiographic Technology.
2. Computer experience and knowledge of imaging equipment and protocols.
3. Certified by the State of Indiana and ARRT certified as R.T.(R) and R.T.(MR) at hire or within 2 years of date of hire.
Work Environment:
Day Shift, 24 scheduled weekly hours.
