Cardiac Catheterization Specialist

Hudson Regional Hospital, a renowned healthcare institution in Secaucus, New Jersey, is seeking an experienced Cardiac Catheterization Specialist to join our team. We are committed to delivering exceptional patient care and advancing medical technology.

We are looking for a skilled RN with experience in cardiovascular and/or OR settings to provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic adult cardiac catheterization procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in angioplasty, coronary stents, balloon valvuloplasty, Swan Ganz/right heart catheterization, and pericardiocentesis.

• Transport patients to/from pre-post recovery and/or inpatient units
• Administer intravenous and oral medications to patients
• Manage patients under procedural sedation
• Operate physiologic recorder and printer to monitor electrocardiogram and hemodynamic data
• Actively monitor patient during adult cardiac catheterization procedures (vitals, etc.)

To be successful in this role, you must have:

• Experience providing direct nursing care in cardiovascular and/or OR within the last 6 months
• Demonstrated history of positive and professional interactions with patients, families, professional health care staff, and interdisciplinary team members
• Demonstrated ability to effectively utilize critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience.
