Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Medical-Surgical team. As a Med Surg RN, you will coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care, working collaboratively with the medical team to ensure the best outcomes for your patients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assess and monitor patient conditions during admission and each shift, documenting changes and notifying the medical team as needed.
* Execute physician-ordered treatments, procedures, and medications, and monitor patient responses, ensuring timely intervention in case of adverse reactions.
* Provide patient education regarding their medical condition, treatment plans, medications, and potential side effects, ensuring patients and their families have a clear understanding of the care process.
* Proactively anticipate and respond to patient needs, ensuring a high level of patient satisfaction.
Qualifications:
* Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
* Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification to be obtained within 1 year.
* Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN).
* Active Registered Nurse license or Graduate Nurse eligible for licensure in the state of Tennessee.
* No prior experience required; new grads are welcome to apply.
