Account Manager

Alera Group, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Account Manager to join our team in this exciting role. As an Account Manager at Alera Group, you will be responsible for building a profitable book of business while supporting the growth of strategic carrier partnerships.
This role will work closely with other Producers on the Sales Team to drive revenue growth for the organization using an internal lead system as well as building their own external referral stream and partnerships. Additional responsibilities include up-selling, account rounding, and referring other business units.
Key Responsibilities:- Prospecting and Lead Generation: Use lead list and inbound calls to convert prospects to clients.
- Building External Partnerships: Build external and predictable referral partnerships in the community.
- Client Management: Manage, organize, and conduct client meetings to secure new business.
- Proposal Creation: Create insurance proposals tailored to fit a client's unique needs by appropriately determining carrier placement as well as proper protection.
- Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, calendar appointments, task-lists, and emails.
- Sales Performance: Meet, or exceed, annual sales goals as established with Sales Manager and Vice President of Sales.
- Mentorship and Training: Actively engage in mentor/mentee relationship with senior team members to ensure team goals are achieved.
- Onboarding: Properly onboard clients by providing a thorough introduction to policy service resources as well as the Account Management team.
- Reporting and Analysis: Consistently complete necessary pipeline and production related reports.
- Experience: Five years of insurance experience.
- Customer Service and Sales Skills: Excellent customer service and sales skills.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Independence and Teamwork: Self-starter with the ability to work independently and within a team.
- Licenses and Certifications: Property & Casualty Insurance License.
Estimated Salary Range: $60,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Alera Group, Inc. offers a competitive salary, bonus structure, and benefits package.
