The Fellowship of Christian Athletes is seeking a dedicated individual to serve as a Christian Ministry Representative. This role plays a vital part in advancing the organization's mission and values.

About the Role:

  • The Christian Ministry Representative will work closely with supervisors to train and equip volunteers, empowering them to disciple coaches and athletes.
  • This role requires a strong spiritual foundation, with a commitment to daily prayer, Bible study, and worship.
  • Effective communication and leadership skills are essential for success in this position.
  • The ideal candidate will be able to connect with local churches and communities, fostering relationships that support the FCA ministry.

Responsibilities:

  1. Ministerial Duties: The Christian Ministry Representative will agree with and abide by FCA's Christian Community Statement. They will also follow a spiritual rhythm, including daily prayer and Bible study, to seek God's will for the organization.
  2. Lead, Conduct and Provide Spiritual Leadership: This role requires leading, conducting, and providing spiritual leadership for staff, volunteers, coaches, and athletes through prayer, Bible study, worship, and living by example.
  3. Connect to and Participate in a Local Church: The ideal candidate will connect to and participate in a local church through worship and weekly involvement.
  4. Conduct Yourself in Accordance with Biblical Standards: The Christian Ministry Representative must conduct themselves in a manner that affirms biblical standards of conduct in accordance with FCA's Christian beliefs at all times.

Advancement Opportunities:

  • Engage, Equip, and Empower Coaches, Athletes, and Volunteers: The Christian Ministry Representative will engage, equip, and empower coaches, athletes, and volunteers by ministering through 1-on-1s, Huddles, and Events.
  • Recruit, Train, and Develop Volunteers: This role requires working alongside the supervisor to recruit, train, and develop a diverse group of volunteers in assigned Sports Environments.
  • Serve the Aligned International Region: The ideal candidate will work alongside the supervisor to serve the aligned International Region by praying, giving, and going.

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year.
