Job Overview

This is a full-time opportunity that requires flexibility and a positive attitude. You will be responsible for cleaning and preparing guest rooms, hallways, and public areas of the hotel. Your attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure will make a significant difference in our guests' experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Follow company and brand procedures for cleaning and preparation of guest rooms
  • Complete pre-cleaning duties such as stocking guest supplies, cleaning supplies, and linen for housekeeping cart set-up
  • Remove all trash and dirty linen from guest rooms
  • Ability to do repetitive tasks such as bed making and bathroom cleaning
  • Replacing bed linens and replenishing guest room supplies
  • Conducting deep cleaning activities as needed within the guest room in conjunction with the maintenance department
  • Interacting with guests and team members in a friendly and service-oriented manner
  • Maintaining regular attendance as required by scheduling
  • Maintaining company and brand standards of personal appearance and grooming
  • Thoroughly cleaning and restocking the required number of guest rooms as assigned per shift
  • Completing any special requests made by guests or other departments on behalf of guests
  • Reporting any maintenance issues or lost and found items to supervisor or manager
Requirements
  • Must have a positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Must have the ability to communicate effectively and clearly
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Physical ability to stand/walk the entire shift and perform repetitive motions
  • Ability to work well in stressful, high-pressure situations
  • Flexible schedule with availability days, nights, holidays, and weekends based on the demands of the hotel
  • Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly
  • Must have a desire to serve all guests
  • Must be 18 years of age or older to perform this job
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience cleaning in a hotel or a related field
