Preoperative Surgical Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Preoperative Surgical Nurse to join our team at an Ambulatory Surgical Center in Madison, MS. The ideal candidate will possess excellent patient care skills and have experience working in a fast-paced surgical setting.
As a Preoperative Surgical Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing surgery. This includes assessing patient needs, developing individualized care plans, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure seamless transitions of care.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to patients undergoing surgery
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure safe and effective patient care
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; current RN license in MS
- CPR certification; ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire
- Minimum 1 year of experience in preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative surgical patient care
- Competitive salary: $85,000 - $105,000 per year
