Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Member Service Representative to join our team at Planet Fitness. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our members, prospective members, and guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Service: Greet members, prospective members, and guests, providing a positive and welcoming experience.
- Front Desk Operations: Handle all front desk activities, including answering phones, checking members into the system, and facilitating new member sign-ups.
- Account Management: Assist with maintaining member accounts, responding to questions and concerns, and escalating issues to management as needed.
- Club Maintenance: Assist with maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the club.
Requirements
- Customer Service Background: Previous experience in customer-facing roles is preferred.
- Basic Computer Skills: Proficiency in basic computer applications is required.
- Passion for Fitness: A genuine interest in fitness and health is essential.
- Positive Attitude: A friendly, approachable, and positive attitude is required.
- Reliability: Punctuality and reliability are must-haves.
Physical Demands
- Standing and Walking: Continual standing and walking during shifts.
- Talking: Continual talking in person or on the phone during shifts.
- Lifting: Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.
