Senior Human Resources Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Senior Human Resources Manager to join our team at Levy Sector. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for overseeing the recruitment, training, and engagement of our people who create unforgettable guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement recruitment and staffing plans for the location in partnership with managers.
- Serve as the voice of the people in all senior leadership discussions.
- Ensure all Levy and legal standards, such as I9 documents, are completed in a timely manner.
- Conduct regular audits to verify compliance with policies and procedures.
- Manage workforce planning to build capability and optimize performance.
- Develop and implement a retention strategy for a specific partner.
- Oversee onboarding and orientation training for new team members.
- Lead efforts around employee engagement and retention at the location.
- Coach team managers to understand business information and key performance levers.
- Drive incremental improvements to performance using robust analysis and benchmarking.
- Oversee the timely and accurate completion of all team member timesheets in our MyStaff system.
- Ensure efficient and welcoming employee check-in experience.
- Partner with the location leadership team to develop and deploy an employee engagement action plan.
- Oversee employee investigation and progressive discipline procedures.
- Moves between strategic and operational thinking to execute strategy.
- Where applicable, act as the primary point of contact for union representatives.
- Where applicable, educate and support managers in understanding and adhering to the location Collective Bargaining Agreement.
- Ensure all team member information is accurate and up to date within the location HRIS system.
- 5 years of experience in a Human Resources role is preferred.
- Experience managing large-scale projects.
- High level of computer literacy; MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
- Bilingual: English & Spanish a plus.
- Passion for hospitality, food, and retail.
- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
