Exciting Opportunity for a Skilled Diesel Mechanic

Ryder System is seeking an experienced Senior Heavy Duty Technician to join our team in Norton, Massachusetts. This is a permanent, full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits package.

Salary: $1482.40 per week or $37.06 per hour

In this role, you will be responsible for performing routine preventative maintenance, diagnosing complex mechanical and electronic problems, and completing detailed inspections and repairs on heavy duty vehicles.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Vocational or Technical Certification Post Secondary degree or Technical Certifications, preferred
  • Basic tools, required
  • Demonstrated aptitude and applied experience in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines
  • Three (3) years or more relevant work experience, preferred
  • Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) CLASS A, preferred

Additional Requirements:

  • Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience with mechanical repairs and diagnostics on heavy duty and medium duty equipment
  • Knowledge of computer skills: PC, Windows, mouse, etc.
