High-Growth Sales Director for Public Sector

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Sales Director to lead our Federal Civilian sales team. This role will be responsible for driving business growth within the market, developing and executing go-to-market strategies, and building strong relationships with key stakeholders.
About the RoleThis is a remote position that requires occasional in-person attendance at work-related events. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leading teams of sellers focused on data and analytic solutions in complex enterprise sales environments.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies to advance TransUnion's business and reputation in the Public Sector market.
- Lead a team of individual sellers responsible for sales pursuits supporting all stages of the sales opportunity lifecycle.
- Partner with TransUnion Public Sector LOB team, Solutions teams, data acquisition, Product Marketing, Solutions Consulting, etc. to establish and execute on Go to Market strategies.
- Collect, interpret and share market, customer and competitive intelligence concerning fraud trends and mitigation solutions.
- Promote communication, team building, personal development, customer directed innovation and other traits to project and strengthen the culture of the company.
- 5-10 years leading teams of sellers focused on data and analytic solutions in a complex enterprise sales environment.
- Mastery of internal TU systems, policies, vocabulary and processes preferred.
- Demonstrated experience within and/or knowledge of the Public Sector industry with specific focus on Federal civilian markets, and channel partners, processes, and solutions.
- Experience in complex contract/legal negotiations.
- Demonstrated experience in a variety of channel partner relationships such as: VAR, Systems Integrator, Platform Provider, OEM software provider, Distributor.
- Demonstrated experience in a variety of Public Sector contract vehicle types and models such as: MAS contracts, GSA, AWS, BPA, GWAC, IDIQ.
- Proven client engagement skills including prospecting, relationship-building, deal making, negotiating and closing business.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and often non-intuitive company environment.
- Detail-oriented; dedicated to quality; customer-focused; urgent-minded.
- Bachelor's degree in from an accredited college or university or the equivalent in experience.

Pay Scale InformationThe salary range for this position is $161,900.00 - $280,500.00. This position is eligible for bonus incentive(s). At TransUnion, actual compensation is based on careful consideration of additional factors such as (but not limited to) an individual's education, training, work experience, job-related skill set, industry knowledge, as well as the scope and responsibilities of the position, and market considerations.
