Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in the Behavioral Health Unit. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about delivering high-quality patient care and making a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional nursing care to patients with mental health conditions, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans. They will also be required to maintain accurate records, communicate effectively with colleagues and families, and participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality patient care, prioritizing their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Assess patients' needs, develop and implement individualized care plans, and monitor progress.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive records, ensuring timely and effective communication with healthcare teams and families.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions and address any concerns or issues that may arise.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development, staying up-to-date with best practices, new technologies, and evidence-based guidelines.
Requirements
  • Current state licensure as an LPN or LVN OR Current multi-state licensure through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC)
  • CPR – American Heart Association certification
  • Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
  • Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate
  • Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
  • 0-1-year healthcare experience, preferably in behavioral health or related settings
