About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Engineering Programs Executive to join our Engineering Services Group at C Speed. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with strong leadership abilities and project management skills to oversee multiple client projects and internal initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Project Management:
    • Manage multiple clients and internal projects from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
    • Develop and manage schedules and budgets, maintaining strict control over costs and resource allocation.
    • Provide weekly status reports to clients, keeping them informed of project progress and any potential issues.
    • Chair team meetings (internal and client-facing) and distribute meeting minutes to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
    • Maintain positive client relationships and resolve internal and external conflicts in a professional and diplomatic manner.
    • Conduct project evaluations with clients, identify lessons learned, and implement improvements to enhance future project outcomes.
  • Program Management:
    • Balance competing priorities across multiple concurrent client projects, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimal downtime.
    • Manage resource load balancing for the team, optimizing productivity and reducing stress.
    • Oversee multiple active customer efforts, including internal R&D projects, to drive innovation and growth.
    • Maintain a very high application rate of available resources, minimizing waste and maximizing ROI.
  • Account Management:
    • Prepare and deliver technical and cost proposals to clients, addressing their specific needs and budget requirements.
    • Review and approve customer invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contractual terms.
    • Collaborate with clients on budget allocation needs and roadmaps, providing expert guidance and support.
  • Division Lead:
    • Generate monthly reports for executive leadership, highlighting key achievements and areas for improvement.
    • Propose plans and participate in periodic meetings with the President to discuss the division's roadmap and business development strategies.
    • Work closely with the President on various business development opportunities, driving growth and expansion.
    • Identify areas of process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
    • Lead recruiting efforts for the Services Group, developing a pipeline of top talent and managing job fairs, interviews, and co-op programs.
    • Conduct employee evaluations, including full-time annual reviews, periodic co-op review forms, and Performance Improvement Plans as needed.
    • Review and approve team members' monthly expense reimbursement submissions, ensuring adherence to company policies.
    • Present alongside other division leads at all-hands meetings, sharing insights and best practices.

Salary Range: $140,000-$180,000 per annum

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field
  • 10+ years of project/technical experience
  • 5+ years of managerial/team leadership experience
  • PMP certification a plus
