This position involves delivering intensive, home-based services designed to mitigate the risks of serious mental health issues, developmental delays, and instances of abuse and neglect.

The primary focus of this role is to enhance the parent-child relationship through a dual approach: (1) providing therapeutic interventions that strengthen this bond, and (2) coordinating care to connect families with essential services and resources.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with families and Family Support Partners to conduct comprehensive family assessments.
  • Utilize gathered information to create a detailed clinical formulation and a tailored Child and Family Plan of Care.
  • Deliver home-based therapeutic interventions using relational and dyadic psychotherapy techniques.
  • Assist caregivers in gaining insights into their personal histories and parenting practices.
  • Provide crisis intervention support during urgent family situations.
  • Conduct mental health assessments and offer consultation within early childhood education settings.
  • Utilize video recordings to enhance therapeutic sessions and supervision.
  • Participate in reflective clinical supervision and team meetings.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for clinical accountability and reimbursement purposes.
Qualifications
  • Master's or Doctoral degree in a relevant mental health field (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, LPC).
  • A minimum of three years of experience working with culturally diverse children and families.
  • Willingness to engage in reflective supervision and continuous learning.
  • Knowledge of psychodynamic interventions and early childhood development.
  • Experience providing mental health assessments in educational settings.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in a second language (Spanish, Portuguese, Creole, etc.) is highly valued.
  • Strong organizational skills and flexibility in work hours.
  • Proficient in verbal and written communication.
  • Access to reliable transportation for home visits.
Benefits
  • 10 paid holidays per year.
  • Vacation available after 6 months of employment.
  • Sick leave begins on the first day of employment.
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance.
  • Employer-funded retirement plan and professional development opportunities.
  • Access to clinical training and supervision.
