Job Description:
As a Senior Manufacturing Supervisor on our 3rd shift team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation of our manufacturing processes.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Providing direction and guidance to production associates to meet work priorities and site objectives
- Overseeing the overall production process, ensuring optimal efficiency through effective monitoring and adjustment of production equipment
- Ensuring compliance with all safety protocols and procedures within each shift
- Assisting in production, covering areas for breaks and lunch, and training new associates
- Performing furnace checks to ensure equipment is operating properly and conducting process and quality checks to ensure parts meet specifications
- Troubleshooting operations problems within departments and performing emergency procedures as needed
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of manufacturing experience
- Able to read, write, and communicate in English
- Strong orientation toward safety, quality, and continuous improvement
- Knowledge of powdered metal processes and willingness to be involved in all aspects of production
- Forklift certification (or willing to become certified within 90 days) and First Aid/First Responder training (or willing to become trained within 180 days)
- Able to handle continuous standing of 8 to 10 hours daily and perform frequent lifting up to 33 lbs independently and up to 70 lbs with assistance
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with a One Team mindset
