Job Description

The Mobile Orthodontic Specialist role at Pippin Dental & Braces involves providing high-quality orthodontic care to underserved communities, primarily for children and young adults. This position offers a collaborative work environment that emphasizes teamwork and patient care, with opportunities for personal and professional growth.

The specialist will be responsible for taking care of patients with the support of their team. Our practice has state-of-the-art equipment, including DentaPro software, digital x-ray units, fiber-optic handpieces, yearly OSHA and HIPPA training, and more.

We have a ratio of 1 hygienist, 1 hygiene assistant, 2 dental assistants per provider, and a patient base consisting of primarily ages 3-21 and up to 30% adult population depending on the location.

The office flow is average 10-12 operative patients and 20-25 hygiene patients. We accept state insurance plans, PPO, and out-of-network payor mix.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Degree from a dental education program accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation
  • Certificate of completion of a residency from an accredited post-graduate Orthodontic Program
  • Current, valid license to practice dentistry in states where providing care or eligible for licensure
  • Nitrous Oxide certification (only LA, MS, DC, TX, MA)
  • Compassion and strong desire to provide dental care to both children and adults
