Culinary Expert - Food Preparation Professional

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Expert to join our team as a Food Preparation Professional at The Phoenician, a Luxury Collection Resort in Scottsdale, Arizona. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing ingredients, cooking food according to quality and presentation standards, and maintaining a clean kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food.
  • Wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables.
  • Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients.
  • Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklist.
  • Operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers.
  • Test foods to determine if they have been cooked sufficiently.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have at least 1 year of related work experience in the culinary industry. You should also possess excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
