About this role:
We are seeking an Associate Branch Manager (SAFE) for National Branch Network as part of our Consumer, Small and Business Banking division. As a leader, you will be responsible for managing a team of direct reports, creating a culture that fosters engagement and generates commitment and accountability to business outcomes. You will lead customer engagement processes, coach specific behaviors to enhance the customer experience, and drive growth of the business while maintaining operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a highly defined customer engagement process
- Coach bankers to engage customers and build relationships
- Resolve tactical issues regarding the customer and employee experience
- Identify opportunities for making banking easier for customers through education and demonstration of available digital options
- Responsible for selection, evaluation, and development of staff

This SAFE position has customer contact and job duties which may include the offering/negotiating of terms and/or taking an application for a dwelling secured transaction. As such, this position requires compliance with the S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 and all related regulations. Ongoing employment is contingent upon meeting all such requirements, including acceptable background investigation results.

Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of banking, financial services, or Branch Network experience
- 1+ years of leadership experience
- Leadership experience including coaching, training, developing, inspiring, and building a high performing team

Desired Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in asking questions and identifying complex financial needs in order to provide relevant options to customers
- Experience building and maintaining effective relationships with customers, internal partners and within the community
- Knowledge and understanding of banking industry laws and regulations, compliance controls, risk management and loss prevention
- Ability to interact with integrity and professionalism with customers and employees
