Neurology Specialist

Sentara Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled Neurology Specialist to join our team at Sentara Neurology Specialists in Harrisonburg. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the growth and development of our Advanced Practice Providers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Function independently to complete general neurology assessments and round on patients hospitalized with neurological issues in the acute-care setting.
- Conduct chart reviews, data interpretation, and obtain thorough H&Ps to formulate assessments and plans.
- Execute orders pertaining to the A&P and perform procedures such as lumbar punctures.
- Correspond with other treatment teams to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements:
- Must be able to function independently and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in Neurology as a licensed provider or completion of a clinical rotation in Neurology is preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
