HPC-Industrial, powered by Clean Harbors in Tulsa, OK, is seeking a highly skilled CDL Operator to join their safety-focused team.


About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for executing industrial cleaning and environmental services across various sectors. This involves supervising and completing single-task jobs requiring one crew member and overseeing turnarounds with management oversight at client sites in accordance with business requirements and company policies.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Serve as a safety representative, enforcing safety policies and procedures for both the company and customers, including hands-on information regarding operations, equipment, emergency response, and administrative functions.
  2. Operate vacuum equipment, hydroblasting equipment, and special equipment such as Ultra High-Pressure pumps.
  3. Energize pumping equipment and/or specialized hydroblasting and/or chemical cleaning equipment, vacuum trucks, and cutting equipment used on the job.
  4. Examine surfaces cleaned to ensure conformance to company and customer specifications.
  5. Perform routine maintenance on company equipment used on the job.
  6. Direct a crew of vacuum technicians, transport equipment and personnel to and from customer locations, complete pre and post-trip inspections, driver's logs, and comply with all vehicle policy and DOT requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A valid Class A or B CDL license and other requirements of the company's driving policy when driving a company vehicle or using a personal vehicle on company business.
  • Languages: Understand English at a level to comprehend safety training and respond to instructions in emergency situations.
  • Specific vocational preparation, including classroom safety training, on-the-job training, and essential experience gained on other jobs.
  • Federal Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC) may be required.
  • Must be knowledgeable in the operation of emergency equipment, such as fire extinguishers.
  • Experience operating a vacuum truck and working knowledge of operating equipment used in wet and dry vacuums.
