$133,000 - $199,600

Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Sr. Principal Logistics Systems Engineer to join our Advanced Weapons team based in Northridge, CA. As a key member of our multi-discipline engineering team, you will be responsible for performing logistics engineering activities and assisting as a technical resource throughout various phases of program development, test, production, and post-production support.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Perform logistics design influence efforts and activities necessary to meet system performance requirements
  2. Analyze and interpret technical data (e.g., drawings, manuals, specifications) to develop technical and logistics data
  3. Create/update relevant reports such as task analysis, maintenance plans, or provisioning requirements reports
  4. Develop/update Level of Repair Analysis (LORA)
  5. Develop/execute plans for Technical Publications/training materials
  6. Plan/execute activities that sustain the operation and maintenance of systems to ensure mission readiness
  7. Be an engaged and versatile team member of the Integrated Logistics Support team seeking to continuously improve upon existing practices

Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
  1. Bachelor's Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university with 8 years of engineering experience or 6 years with Master's
  2. Experience in Logistics Support Analysis (LSA), Reliability, Maintainability or other logistics related discipline
  3. Experience in developing/generating various types of logistics supportability analysis
  4. Experience in developing and delivering Level of Repair Analysis (LORA)
  5. Knowledge of analyzing data/trend analysis or databases for tracking logistics and inventory
  6. Familiar with military maintenance and sustainment support
  7. Experience in leading and monitoring assigned tasks
  8. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, presentation skills and ability to interface directly with internal program office and external customers
