Medical Assistant/LPN

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant/LPN to join our team at Advocate Aurora Health. As a Medical Assistant/LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare patients for exams by obtaining vital signs and gathering pertinent health information.
- Monitor and complete Clinical Integration/Quality Improvement measures.
- Perform laboratory procedures using principles of aseptic technique and standard precautions.
- Assist physicians with procedures such as pelvic exams and allergy scratch testing.
- Administer routine medications under physician orders.
- Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare team members.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- GED or HS Equivalency Diploma.
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant.
