About the Role:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse with at least 1 year of experience in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) to take on this challenging and rewarding role. As a Senior NICU Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care for assigned patients in the NICU and Newborn Nursery. You will also participate in the development and implementation of policies and procedures for the NICU that guide and support the provision of services.

Your Key Responsibilities:

* Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for assigned patients in the NICU and Newborn Nursery
* Participate in the development and implementation of policies and procedures for the NICU
* Manage all assigned personnel, supplies, and equipment in the NICU
* Perform neonatal assessments of NICU patients and Newborn Nursery patients
* Perform nursing care of NICU patients and Newborn Nursery patients
* Perform gestational age assessments
* Demonstrate appropriate usage and understanding of equipment used in the department
