Job Summary

HORIBA Group is seeking an experienced Field Service Representative to join our team. As a Field Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing on-site service, maintenance, and training of HORIBA Medical instrumentation to customers in the NY and Long Island area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, repair, and perform PM on medical laboratory equipment
  • Conduct troubleshooting via phone and onsite visits
  • Assist in training other technicians on specific equipment
  • Install laboratory equipment and train lab staff
  • Perform regularly scheduled PMs onsite
  • Test and calibrate analyzers and other equipment used in quality control
  • Prepare service reports, weekly logs, and expense reports
  • Provide quality customer service and promote MLS benefits and/or additional services
  • Monitor, organize, and maintain inventory on parts and consumables for car stock
Requirements
  • AA Degree or certification from a technical school
  • 3 years experience working with hematology, relevant analyzer equipment, or medical instrumentation with two years of electronics experience preferred
  • Medical Technologist (MT) a plus
  • Some Training experience preferred
  • MS Office application and general computer skills preferred
