We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join our team at the Dent Neurologic Institute, a leader in neurologic studies and research.

The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for delivering quality patient care to individuals with a range of neurologic conditions. As a member of our team, you will work alongside top physicians and provider teams to provide comprehensive treatment and support services to our patients and their families.

Benefits:

  • No hospital requirement
  • No on call requirement (for this clinic)
  • No weekends
  • Support staff structure (access to dedicated Clinic Director, reception, medical assistants, checkout, billing, prior authorization, rooming and more)
  • CME Allowance (provided annually)
  • Additional education opportunities including APP Rounds (free CME hours), periodic EMR/Coding/Billing reviews with a dedicated team, and more

Compensation:

  • The compensation rates noted on postings is the base salary $95,000 - $100,000 per year
  • Most candidates will start within the first quartile of the range and rates are based on experience
  • Advanced Practice Providers may receive semi-annual bonuses (if eligible)

Requirements:

  • Active New York State license as a Nurse Practitioner free from any restrictions
  • Experienced, or newly graduated, Nurse Practitioner, with a strong desire to develop expertise in a subspecialty
  • Solid understanding of examination methodologies and diagnostics
  • Broad knowledge of common and specialty medications, side effects, and contraindications
  • In-depth knowledge of legal medical guidelines and medical standard methodologies
  • Respect for patient's confidentiality
