Biopharmaceutical Manufacturing Specialist

Key Responsibilities
- Develop a basic understanding of laboratory and pharmaceutical production equipment
- Author technical procedures and create forms, ensuring legible and grammatically correct entries on records
- Familiarize yourself with standard troubleshooting approaches, including problem statement, root cause analysis, corrections, and more
- Meet schedule requirements, including shift, weekend, holiday work, and overtime as dictated by the 365-day per year production schedule
- Work in a clean room environment, comply with hygiene standards, and use special garments
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the Company
Requirements
- High school diploma with 3+ years of related experience or an associate degree in Life Sciences/Engineering field, with a Biotech Certificate preferred
- Bachelor's degree with 1+ years of related experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Ability to read and follow detailed written instructions, with good verbal and written communication skills
- Good computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively and efficiently in a team environment
Working Conditions
- Normal office working conditions, including computer, phone, files, fax, and copier
- Personal Protective Equipment must be worn as required
- Lifting amounts of 25 lbs may be required
- Manufacturing operations tasks require regular standing for shift
- Pushing buffer containers ranging from 50L to 200L
- Sitting for periods of 2 to 3 hours
