About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team at Soliant in Long Lake, MN.

Job Summary

Responsibilities

  • Provide Direct Instruction and Support: Deliver high-quality instruction and support to students with varying disabilities and learning challenges, promoting academic growth and development.
  • Collaborate with Colleagues: Work closely with general education teachers, parents, and other school staff to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment that fosters collaboration and mutual respect.
  • Monitor and Assess Student Progress: Regularly evaluate student progress, adjusting instructional strategies as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Participate in IEP Meetings: Actively contribute to IEP meetings, develop educational goals, and maintain accurate records of student progress.
Qualifications
  • Valid Special Education Teaching License: Hold a valid teaching license for Minnesota, demonstrating expertise in special education laws and best practices.
  • Experience Working with Students: Possess experience working with students with a range of disabilities and learning needs, showcasing adaptability and creativity in the classroom.
  • Excellent Communication and Collaboration Skills: Demonstrate strong communication and collaboration skills, enabling effective teamwork and stakeholder engagement.
  • Ability to Create Effective IEPs: Showcase the ability to design and implement effective individualized education plans, driving student success and achievement.
