Overview:
A key role at Paychex is available for an experienced Learning Designer to create engaging and interactive training content. The ideal candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders to identify learner needs and develop tailored solutions that drive business impact.

Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct thorough needs assessments to determine training objectives, approaches, and metrics.
  2. Design learning experiences using adult learning theory, technology, and instructional systems design methodologies.
  3. Develop a range of training materials, including facilitator guides, participant materials, and multimedia elements, to optimize learning and retention.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure training aligns with business unit strategies and meets effectiveness standards.
  5. Participate in industry research and stay current with trends and best practices.
  6. Create prototypes, storyboards, and design documentation to effectively communicate design approach.
  7. Validate program materials through collaboration with L&D partners and stakeholders.

Salary: $23-$35 per hour (estimated).
The starting salary range is based on factors such as location, skills, education, and experience. Total compensation may vary outside this range. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Graphic Design, English, Communications, Journalism, or a related field, and 2 years of experience in creating learning content and designing programs for diverse audiences.
