Career Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at Westchester Village. As a Nursing Care Specialist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to our residents, working closely with our interdisciplinary team to ensure exceptional patient outcomes.

Job Summary

The RN will ensure quality nursing care in accordance with Federal, State, and Company requirements, based on resident acuity. Daily rounds will be conducted to assess resident condition and comfort. The RN will also follow safety policies, infection control guidelines, and initiate procedures to protect residents from injury and infection.

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to residents, including assessments, evaluations, and interventions as needed
  • Conduct daily rounds to ensure resident comfort and address any concerns
  • Follow safety policies and infection control guidelines to prevent harm to residents
  • Communicate effectively with physicians, families, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care
Qualifications
  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
  • Current licensure in the state of employment without encumbrance
  • 1-2 years of previous nursing experience in Long Term Care and/or Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)
  • CPR certification
